Sponge-Jet 470-CG Feed Unit™

Sponge Jet jet feed units are designed to be used for virtually any application in the field of blasting and cleaning with SpongeMedia ™. The 470-CG ("Contractor Grade") Feed Unit (blast pot) is a larger variant of the 170-CG Feed Unit. The unit is only equipped with basic features but offers the option to apply Sponge-Jet Spongeblasting without the need for high investment costs. For example, blasting pressure must be regulated via the (external) compressor. However, media-supply can be regulated via the control panel allowing for selective removal of coating and contaminants with this Feed Unit. The unit is not equipped with a moisture separator, so applying an external moisture separator after your compressor is recommended. The unit is equipped with a connection where you can install your own pressure relieve valve. Because this blast pot does not contain mufflers, there is increased noise emission, which makes this unit less suitable for locations where noise emission limits apply. The unit is ideal for situations where several blast units must be used and / or situations where a large amount of similar blasting work can be processed.
