The Contracor DMH pneumatic deadman control handle is connected to the blast pot with a twinline hose to allow remote control. When the lever is pressed, compressed air flows from the blast pot through the blast hose. By releasing the lever intentionally or unintentionally (emergency stop), the spring lock returns to its vertical position. The compressed air supply from the blast pot is then shut off.
